Embassy of Grenada in China Forges New Creative Pathway with Beijing Film Academy
BEIJING, China – In a significant step to deepen cultural and creative ties, His Excellency Ian Marshall, Ambassador of Grenada to the People’s Republic of China, undertook a productive visit to the prestigious Beijing Film Academy (BFA) on December 29, 2024.

The visit, aligned with the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Grenada and China, focused on building people-to-people connections and exploring concrete collaborations under the framework of the Grenada-China Cultural Cooperation Implementation Plan.
Ambassador Ian Marshall was received by senior academy officials and given an extensive tour of the world-class facilities, gaining insight into the intricate artistry and technical innovation that defines China’s film industry. Discussions centered on the powerful role of cinematic arts in cultural exchange and the mutual benefits of fostering creative industry partnerships.
“I was profoundly impressed by the dedication and excellence at the Beijing Film Academy,” stated Ambassador Marshall. “There is a powerful synergy to be found between Grenada’s vibrant creative spirit and the technical mastery housed here.
